Louise Kelly is a keyboardist and vocalist with 15 years’ experience. A classically trained pianist from childhood, she studied jazz piano at Northern Illinois University and North Central College. Louise, a seasoned performer, has played professionally for a wide variety of occasions: solo concerts, wedding ceremonies, receptions, church worship, clubs, and community events.

From performing to music education, Louise has developed many skills musically and is dynamic in both leadership roles: church bands, cover-bands, and original projects; and supportive roles: accompanist and back-up singer. Additionally, during her time in L.A., Louise recorded in studio, worked as a private piano teacher and as an elementary school music teacher.

Church ministry has been a large part of Louise’s musical life. First, she led worship at Faith United Methodist Church in her hometown of Downers Grove. Next, she was worship leader for Lincoln Park Assemblies in Chicago and then for Westchester Baptist Church in Los Angeles, where she lived for five years.

Currently, Louise is writing and performing her original songs in solo performance and with the Louise Kelly Band. She performs locally with her Jazz Trio (piano, bass and drums) for private parties, receptions, wine-tastings, and other events. On any given weekend one might find her providing piano and vocal music for weddings, both for ceremonies and for receptions. Louise lives in a suburb of Chicago where she is raising her two daughters, Bella and Noelle.
