Hey friends!
Well it’s been a while since I’ve updated, and a lot has happened. I’m booking wedding ceremonies, parties/receptions for my jazz trio and shows for the Louise Kelly Band. Looking ahead to the 3rd Annual Team Fox (Michael J. Fox, that is) Garden Walk in Naperville on June 28th, 2009. Join us!
Finishing touches. That’s what this summer is about. I’M ALMOST DONE WITH SCHOOL! Also, I’m completing a CD of my original songs with my friend and bass player, Michael Krieglstein. When will the CD release be? Hoping for fall of 2009. Give me a shout out it you want to buy one. Or else I will try on you some of the slimey sales techniques I learned when I sold cars.
I’ve enjoyed my time at North Central College and am glad to move on into fulltime music teaching. And more time for songwriting and gigging. But especially more time with Bella and Noelle?

Hi Friends-
I’m back in the Chicagoland area, back to my roots. That seems like big news, but even bigger still is this one: Bella became a big sister! On December 14th, 2006, Noelle was born! We are still adjusting to many changes in our lives; thankful for the grace of God in all these things…
In getting back to my roots, I’m also rediscovering classical piano. I’m building a great repertoire for wedding ceremonies, so I’ll be really excited to build up those kinds of gigs in and around town.
I recently re-recorded “Turn Away,” a song people seem to like a lot. Check out my songwriting page to listen to it. I’ll be interested in getting feedback from you to see which one you like better, the old recording or the new. Please write me!
Thanks to Anthony Enns for recording the new “Turn Away” for me in between theological discussions and time in the pool :) Thanks also to Christine Enns, and all my California friends who’ve helped me get through a very challenging 2006. And while I’m at it, I’m so thankful for my family- my parents, brothers and sisters, for being incredibly supportive of me, my kids and my music. And while I’m at it, I love seeing you lots again, Illinois friends!
